Cookie Policy
TheSanatMethod Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. This Policy explains what they are, which ones we use, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as pixels, local storage, and SDKs — work the same way. They allow the site to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and understand how you use the site.
Cookies we use
- Essential — required for the site to function (e.g., remembering your accent preference and your booking-flow state). The site cannot work properly without these.
- Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Data collected is aggregated and anonymized (pages visited, time on page, referral source, approximate region).
- Advertising / Meta Pixel — we may use the Meta Pixel (Facebook) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant content to people who have visited our site. The Meta Pixel sends a hashed event to Meta when you take certain actions on our site (e.g., page view, lead).
- Scheduling (Calendly) —when you book a call, we use Calendly. Calendly sets its own cookies on its booking widget to operate the scheduling experience and prevent double-booking. Their use of cookies is governed by Calendly’s own policy.
How long cookies stay
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them — typically between 30 days and 2 years.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can disable or delete cookies through your browser’s settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox:Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Disabling cookies may break parts of the site — for example, the Calendly booking widget and analytics may not load.
Opting out of analytics and advertising
- Google Analytics — install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your activity from being measured.
- Meta Pixel — manage your ad preferences in your Facebook account under Settings → Ads, or use the Your Ad Choices tools.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no industry standard yet for handling this signal, so our site does not currently respond to it. We honor opt-outs received through the channels above.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The “Effective Date” above reflects the latest version.
